Q. How are you able to offer so much for such a relatively low cost?

A. The islands & yachts have been under the auspices of GTC since it’s inception and new members will reap the rewards.

Q. Why have you decided to expand the existing membership?

A. Demand from referrals has always prompted expansion of the membership in the past, but sadly, our existing members grow old, as do their peers, and whilst we cater for all our members wishes, needs and desires we cannot offer immortality.

Q. How long has GTC been around?

A. The name of Gentleman’s Travel Club (GTC) has been around since 1986.

Q. Why have I not heard off you before?

A. This is testament to the levels of anonymity and secrecy our members enjoy.

Q. Then am I right to assume that my details are safe with you?

A. We only have your name and email address and that’s all we ask.

Q. What if I can’t make the dates for my trip?

A. As long as you can give us some notice we will offer your dates to other members and re arrange your trip(s) to dates that fit in with your schedule.

Q. What if I don’t enjoy my trip?

A. You’d be the first!
Anything not to your absolute satisfaction on either the complimentary cruise or Island trip would be dealt with by our on-site Administration staff.

Q. How is my safety protected?

A. We have top South African security staff on site at all times, they aren’t obvious but they are always on alert – your safety is paramount. However, because we are the only people on the islands & yachts, the question of your safety never arises.

Q. What about health care?

A. We have a Doctor and Medical Staff on 24 hour call. Should a member ever suffer any serious medical condition then he would be airlifted immediately to hospital.

Q. Can I speak to other members?

A. Our members’ anonymity is sacrosanct and we would never approach an existing client and ask him to deal with questions from a prospective member. They didn’t join the GTC to work for us, they joined to take advantage of all that membership brings.

Q. I still need to keep in touch, do the islands offer hi speed internet and telephone communication?

A. In a word, yes.
However, we do expect you to make your calls and send emails in the privacy of your villa as a courtesy to the other members.

Q. How do I join?

A. Quite simply complete the registration / application form and pay your membership fees according to the bank details on this website.
You will receive immediate acknowledgment via email and confirmation that your fees have been paid and membership accepted. Should your Application be denied, your fees will be returned immediately.
